Design
In the design area, the VXL 150 resembles the Vespa family while it also holds a more powerful engine in that same compact style design and Italian aesthetics. The chrome stylized front apron made the Vespa attractive at first look and this is matched by the premium paint job. The V shaped vent-look alike front design comes in the middle and it is complemented by big headlamps at both sides, which gives the VXL 150 a spectacular look and feel and this completes the front apron design of this scooter.
Vespa VXL 150 gets a compact look and feel that is shared by its younger siblings, while this scooter is specially adapted to process the more powerful 150cc engine when compared with its 125cc counterparts.
Instrument Cluster
The Instrument cluster shows the various information required for the rider for a peaceful ride. The dashboard looks cool and sleek with attractive colour up. The Vespa has a Digital Fuel Indicator that gives precise fuel level and this makes sure that the scooter is always fueled up for a ride anytime.
Seat
The VLX 150 has a redesigned seat that gives supreme comfort and the seat is set a height which can be accessed by any member of the family very easily. The seat is made of extra cushions to make the rider comfortable while riding through traffic and highways.
A spacious under seat storage also comes with the VXL 150, which can be used to store a helmet, small books, handbags, shopping bags and other essentials safely.
Engine
Vespa VXL 150 is powered by a 150cc engine which delivers a maximum power of 11.6 Ps at 7000 RPM and 11.5 Nm torque @ 6000 RPM. This scooter uses continuous Variable Transmission system for transmission and that makes the engine to deliver torque and power precisely when needed. The engine of the VXL is also refined and vibration free, the engine is tuned to provide free- quick acceleration and thus provides maximum comfort and stability while riding at higher speeds. The power distribution of this scooter is also set up derive enough power and torque at all speeds.
Braking and Suspension
The suspension duties at the front are done by an Aircraft derived single side arm Front Suspension which comes with Anti-drive characteristics that make sure the Vespa is smooth and comfortable on uneven terrains and gives maximum comfort and stability while moving at high speeds. The Dual-Effect Hydraulic Shock absorber at the rear also combines to provide comfort to the rider good comfort and safety while riding across the city.
The breaking of the Vespa is done with Ventilated Front Disc Brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. A Good and light weight 5-spoke alloy wheels are also employed to enhances riding comfort, premium riding comfort and more stability at high speeds.
