Design

Engine
The Vespa SLX 125 comes with a 125cc 3-valves aluminium cylinder engine. It produces a power of 9.9 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The 125cc engine is tuned to make city riding and local commuting easier. The power distribution is also set up give enough power and torque at all rev ranges. The transmission system used in this Vespa is a Continuous Variable Transmission and comes packed with a steel body construction setup.
Braking and Suspension
The suspension work at the front is done by an Aircraft derived single side arm Front Suspension which has Anti-drive characteristics that make sure the Vespa is smooth and comfortable on uneven roads and gives maximum stability while moving at high speeds. The Dual-Effect Hydraulic Shock absorber at the rear also combines to provide comfort to the rider as well as the pillion rider a safer and relaxed ride in and across the city.
The breaking of the Vespa is done with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. With the addition of the braking system, 5-spoke alloy wheels are also employed that enhances riding comfort and provide more stability at high speeds and all terrains. The alloy wheels with tubeless tyres are also easy to manage and repair when on flat tyre situations and this comes handy when going to explore unknown places.
