Design
The Vision 50 is very easy to ride in cities and town. It is a fun filled mobility scooter that is very affordable and friendly to use when it comes to day to day use. Nothing fancy is made in the design of this scooter and Honda has provided minimal designs to make the scooter appealing to all ages. The neat and carefully sculpted head lamps, compact side mirrors and the beautifully made front apron holds a minimalistic and attractive design stance.
The Vision 50 holds the aesthetics and heritage of Honda engineering. The Strong, dynamic lines give the Vision 50 a sleek, contemporary style with unmistakable visual links that stay close to the bigger scooters in Honda's range.
The Visual aspects, as well as the high reliability, is reflected in the making of the Vision 50. Honda has also provided an optional Safari body sticker kit that matches with the slim front profile and the powerful lights that are an integral part of the fairing design of this scooter.
This scooter boasts a cool graphic log of the "Vision" and the integrated taillight and rear indicators combines with it give the machine a smart appearance and cool road appearance.
Storage
Honda has provided ample storage in the Vision to make it more appealing and practical to use. Honda has provided plenty of space under the seat which can hold shopping bags and other essentials very easily.
Two more open storage compartments are also provided in the leg shield to provide more convenience and an optional 35L top box is also available to give away extra storage.
Engine
The Honda has given a simple and small engine to the Vision 50. It holds a small 49 CC Air-cooled 4-stroke OHC 2v single. This small engine produces a power of 3.3 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 3.5 Nm torque @ 6750 rpm. This simple and small engine is very robust and provides smooth torque and power at all rev ranges. The Vision 50 is very peppy to ride and can dash through the city traffic very easily with its lightweight design.
The Vision provides amazing mileage and provides a range of a maximum of 146.9 mpg with its 5.5 litres petrol tank. The riders can benefit from its very fuel efficient engine and can take this scooter to all the roads and terrains without any fear of constant refueling.
Braking and Suspension
The Vision 50 has been designed to be very comfortable for both rider and the pillion ride, with its cast aluminium wheels and good tyres. The Vision holds a 50's 14" wheels to provide secure handling and nimble performance. The Vision 50 comes with the Honda's Combined Braking System (CBS), which links the front and rear brakes to provide swift, stable braking regardless of rider experience or road conditions.
A Telescopic fork with hydraulic damping at the front is provided as the front suspension and a Unit swingarm is provide as the rear suspension. The suspension setup makes sure that the Vision 50 is easy to ride around in all terrains and uneven roads and prevents shocks to provide a comfortable riding experience.
Colour and Availability
The Honda Vision 50 is available in Pearl Cool White, Pearl Siena Red, Matt Carbonium Grey Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black. Currently, the Vision 50 is not available in India. Since India is a popular market for two wheelers, can surely hope that the Honda Vision 50 will be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
