Vespa RED Review: A Scooter With A Global Cause

Ace Italian manufacturer Piaggio has launched their new scooter; Vespa Red in India. The scooter was launched in collaboration with RED; an initiative started by Bono; U2's; vocal and rhythm guitarist and Bobby Shriver; a leading activist, attorney and journalist, to prevent and cure AIDS globally by collecting funds from private companies with the power and support of consumers. Piaggio has made their Vespa RED product with their model; Vespa VXL 125. The company has a plan to expand its RED products to its 150cc variants if the Vespa RED finds traction of sales in the country.

Vespa RED End Aids

For every Vespa RED brought in India, Piaggio will give away funds that go directly to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, directly in India. The main focus of this fundraising programme is to give away services and care to HIV infected women and to ensure that their babies are born HIV-free. To make the fundraising programme wider, Piaggio and RED also combine to sell Vespa RED products like T-Shirts, Mugs, Rear Leather Bags, Canvas Tote and Helmets to customers.
