Design

Braking and Suspension
The braking system of the Grande at the Front and the Rear is of Drum type. Yamaha could have given disc brakes at the front of this scooter. While the Suspension duty is performed by a Telescopic with coil spring with oil damper on the front and a Unit Swing with coil spring with oil damper at the rear part. The suspension and braking of this scooter provide a comfortable ride in and across the city.
Storage
A big 27-litre seat storage with LED light is provided in the Grande. The under-seat storage is very big enough to carry two helmets, laptops, college books and handbags. The storage capacity is very big compared to other rivals in the market which gives the Nozza Grande an edge over the others.
Engine
A 125cc single cylinder, 2-valve, SOHC engine with fuel injected technology powers the Nozza Grande in Vietnam. The engine is mated with a V-belt automatic gearbox.
The Grande produces a maximum power of 8.2PS at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 9.7Nm at 5,000rpm. The engine power and performance of this scooter is adequate for city rides and it will perform well in almost all terrains. The Grande also showcase good mileage with its fuel injection technology and provides a smooth ride across cities and highways.

India being a big market for scooters, Yamaha will face tight competition as soon as the beautiful Nozza Grande reach India.
