This scooter was introduced in the Indian market in the year 2014. Being the lightest scooter from the Suzuki range of scooter lineup, this scooter was introduced mainly to target youngsters and ladies.
Design
Suzuki has gone through a bunch of new design elements with new Suzuki Let's and added to that is the reason for the company to comes up with a range of stylish dual tone colours and graphics to this light weight scooter. For added styling and sporty feel, a race like graphics and sculpted body design is employed and gives a bold and fresh look to this new scooter.
Dual colour meter console
The meter console of the Let's showcase a vibrant colourful design and its clear layout with an easy-to-read arrangement of large icons of various readings shows the purposeful design of Suzuki. The console shows details of light and turn indicators and with the fuel gauge carefully placed at the right of the cluster for better visibility. A Suzuki logo at the bottom of the meter completes the design queue of this colourful meter.
Cut away floorboard
A cut way floorboard is given for a smooth ride and the comfortable foot grounding also makes it convenient and friendly to use it for all ages. The seat height of this scooter is 765 mm and added with soft and wide seat and a good ground clearance of 160 mm this scooter makes commuting on Indian roads a very easy affair.
Central Locking and Unique Shutter Lock
Suzuki has tightened the protection features of this scooter with an Ignition, steering and seat lock operatable only through a central lock unlock and added with a Unique Shutter Lock adds to the maximum protection of this scooter.
Storage and Mobile Charger
The most important thing about the Lets is the Storage capacity, which allows carrying groceries and other essentials from the market which adds to the comfort and convenience, and the additional optional storage box and a USB connected mobile charger also makes this scooter a sure thing for carefree rides.
Engine
Suzuki has specially designed the Lets engine for comfort and power, the mill is an 113cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2 valves engine which deliver 8.7 bhp power @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 9 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The Suzuki used cutting edge SEP Technology - which boasts top-class fuel efficiency of 63 Km/L and the mileage is tested under Suzuki test conditions without compromising power and performance.
The fuel tank capacity of this scooter is 5.2 L and the engine is meshed with a CVT transmission box and comes engineered to be light in weight and sturdy in all riding conditions. The power delivery and response is very good and practical for everyday usage and serves daily commute and occasional long rides with much ease in and around the city.
Braking and Suspension
A Telescopic fork forms the front suspension and a swing arm type rear suspension forms the suspension does the entire suspension duties of this scooter. Suzuki has provided Drum brakes at the front and the rear, the braking department composed of 120 mm drum brakes fitted both rear and front.
The braking system is integrated with tubeless tyres which provide stability and riding comfort in any terrains and the tyres are made to over comes flat as it only gives out a minimum air leakage during punctures and even provides better ride control and ensures a comfortable ride even on the potholes due to the much advanced telescopic suspension.
